Dying To Know: Deathbed Phenomena: Real or Imagined?

When: Tuesday, May 16, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm
Where: Online via Zoom
Cost: Free

People who are close to death sometimes report visions of deceased relatives, friends, places, or religious figures. We call these deathbed phenomena (DBP), and they are more common than we think. Deathbed phenomena have been reported around the world and are now being studied in medical literature. This session will share stories from palliative care clinicians, explore the meaning of deathbed phenomena, and discuss how to support and talk with those who experience DBP’s.
